Each of have a shot at a day of destiny. But God doesn't guarantee that will happen. A lot of it depends on us, that we pass the tests, develop the necessary character, and are obedient unless our day of release from metaphorical prisons God arranges for us. When everything comes into place at the right time, God promotes us accordingly to His will and for His purposes on the earth. Then we step into what we were created for.
