Ever been in prison? Most likely not a physical prison for many of us, but maybe a metaphorical prison? There is great purpose for these "prison seasons" for God to develop us as leaders. He wants to do deep work in us so He can do powerful work through us. We can submit to God's plan during these prison seasons, or resist and prolong our season, and potentially remain in prison permanently. Like Joseph, God has a day of release for His destiny after we pass the test.
