The resurrection of Jesus is the determing factor for everything. If Jesus was not resurrected from the dead there would be no salvation and no eternal life. BUT Jesus' resurrection changes that. He claims He is the Way, Truth, and the Life, and the only way to God. That's a big claim and contrasts lots of other religions, beliefs, unbeliefs and ideas. You got one shot at life, and the resurrection of Jesus is that determining factor.
