Jesus has given gifts to the Church. And those gifts are actually people! The apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers are roles given by Jesus to build up the Church and equip disciples in their gifts and calling. When you receive those who serve in these roles, you receive the gift God intends for your life purpose. And then you get the opportunity to serve and equip others to see the Holy Spirit reproduce the same in others! You are an important and needed part of the Church. We each have a role to play.
Be sure to download the activation "Spiritual Gifts Action Plan" at the top of post to apply this to your life in a really practical way. You can prayerfully reflect about your spiritual gifts and how to serve others using those gifts. Consider completing the activation during your daily devo with Jesus.
